What is a Site-Based Big
Brother/Sister?
A Site-Based Big Brother/Sister ("Big") is an adult or high school
mentor that is matched with a child ("Little"). The Big and Little
plan meet at a designated site. NCCS and local schools are typical
sites where these Bigs and Littles meet.
Who can become a Site-Based Big?
Any caring adult or responsible high schooler can become a Site-Based
Big after completing the enrollment process. Site-Based Bigs receive
training and support from Big Brothers Big Sisters staff to ensure a
positive experience in the program.
What is the time commitment for a
Site-Based Big?
Site-Based Bigs visit with their Littles a couple times a month.
